04Sponsor evidence explained
Licensed sponsors, permit history and work permit signals by country
Each country publishes different evidence. The UK and the Netherlands keep official sponsor registers, Ireland publishes past employment permit data, and Portugal and Spain publish vacancies and shortage lists instead. We label each result by the evidence behind it.
UK · Netherlands
Current licensed or recognised sponsor
The employer is on the government register today. It does not mean every job they post offers sponsorship.
Ireland
Past permit history
The employer received employment permits in past years. A useful signal, not a promise of a future permit.
Portugal
Job open to international applicants
A public employment service vacancy listed as open to applicants from outside the EU.
Spain
Occupation or route signal
The occupation appears on an official list, such as hard-to-fill occupations. This is not a job advert.
05Live jobs
Jobs at visa sponsor companies, updated daily
New vacancies from sponsor-listed employers and public job boards arrive every morning. Jobs older than 30 days are removed.

07FAQ
Visa sponsorship and work permits: common questions
Short answers based on official sources. For your own case, always check the official guidance or speak to a qualified adviser.
Which companies sponsor visas in the UK?
Only employers holding a valid UK sponsor licence can sponsor a Skilled Worker visa. SponsorPath lists about 128,000 of them, refreshed from the government’s public register, and shows their current job adverts.
How do I find jobs with visa sponsorship in Europe?
Start with employers that appear on an official register (UK, Netherlands) or have past permit history (Ireland), then check that the role itself is eligible. SponsorPath combines both, and every job links to the original advert.
Does a sponsor listing mean the job will sponsor me?
No. A register shows the employer can sponsor or has done so before. Each job and your own profile still need to meet the route’s rules.
Can I get a work permit in Ireland without a job offer?
Ireland’s Critical Skills and General Employment Permits are both employer-led and need a job offer. The occupation must also be eligible and meet the salary threshold.
What is a recognised sponsor in the Netherlands?
It is an employer officially approved by the Dutch immigration authority to apply for residence permits such as the highly skilled migrant permit. SponsorPath lists about 13,000 of them.
Does Portugal or Spain have a visa sponsor list?
No. Neither country publishes a sponsor register. For Portugal we show public vacancies, including those open to non-EU applicants. For Spain we show jobs in occupations on an official hard-to-fill list.
Can care workers still get UK sponsorship?
No new overseas care worker sponsorship has been possible since July 2025. SponsorPath does not show UK care worker roles as sponsorship opportunities.
How often is the data updated?
Jobs refresh every morning and jobs older than 30 days are removed. Registers refresh weekly or monthly, depending on the source.
Is this legal immigration advice?
No. SponsorPath gives general information from official sources. Confirm with the official source or a qualified adviser.
Do you give a chance of getting a visa?
No. We explain route fit and what to check. We do not have the outcome data to give a reliable percentage.
